This vehicle used to run almost nonstop with taking kids, staff to appointments, and going out for errands. Road wear and tear have deteriorated the Pointer. This vehicle was out of service for a while, but we are now getting it back in shape for our errand runs here in Tepic.
It needs new tires, some general mechanical work, minor transmission work. Overall, it is still in good condition. The picture above is from several years ago.
2006 FORD ECONOLINE WAGON XL
This vehicle is not used as much but it takes groups of children on outings or to events in the city. It is important for the safety of the children that we can keep the van in good condition. We all know expenses are often great and unexpected when we have a vehicle. Please support this important work that gives many children a wonderful place to be in their time of great need. Now in 2023 the van still runs great as it is not used nearly as often as the pointer. Presently some water leaks in around the windshield and has a little rust on the roof.
Laptops and schoolwork.
Our computer lab for the little kids is in decent shape. We need at least four more computers for the coming school year.
We also need large panel TVs for two classrooms. With our new Christian curriculum some information is online.
