This morning at the Casa we had a communion service where we remembered what Jesus did for us on the cross. This is a very good time to listen to the Holy Spirit and take a look at your heart. It is too easy to just let things stay in our hearts that should not be in there, and some things like unforgiveness are actually damaging to our souls. Karen Carpenter sang a song "Hurting each other" and some of the words say, "why should it be that we go on hurting each other". The song has a good message in it that we all should heed in not leaving things undone in our hearts.
I was blessed in the service this morning to see some young persons move from their comfortable place finding who they were looking for and giving real hugs. I could sense some healing time was happening, and it still gives me a warm feeling thinking late this night as I was struggling to sleep, but feeling quite good inside.
